Before I created my character, I tried Googling first to check what’s best for newbies. There are many recommendations, I did read some but I decided just to choose one for myself. I went for Night Elf, Hunter Class. Honestly, I don’t personally know anyone who plays WoW so a character that can survive alone would best fit for me. I also love instant support, the white tiger pet is very useful. It does some melee hits and takes damage while I do some long range attacks with my bow. I’m still getting used with the game again, the last time I played WoW on a private server is when the first expansion came out.
I tried World of Warcraft out of curiosity before but only on a private server, I think it was overpowered and I didn’t enjoyed it. I did a lot of Free2Play gaming and WoW will be the first subscription-based online game that I will be burning my time with. For all these years, now is the only time I decided to spend for it.
I signed up a fresh account on Battle.net. I am currently downloading the WoW client using the Blizzard Downloader. I thought I had to pay for the client, didn’t know it was free. I will start paying for it on January 2011…
